About
Chance is a rock climbing route located in Palisade, Colorado, on the Western Slope. The site sits at an elevation of 5,041 feet and offers easy difficulty levels suitable for relaxed climbing. The route is a 55-foot (17-meter) climb featuring traditional, sport, and top-rope options. A crack develops 20 feet up the face, leading to a two-bolt anchor with hooks. Climbers use small nuts and cams for protection. Access is currently open, resolving previous issues related to the Cameron Peak Fire and Storm Mountain Road closures that occurred after 2023.
