The system includes the Church Camp Loop and the Ridge Hike Trail. The Loop is flat and suitable for families, while the Ridge Hike Trail offers more elevation gain and views of the Animas River Valley. Hikers can access Falls Creek Falls, though the falls themselves are on private property. The area is popular for hiking, biking, and running, with parking available along County Road 205. The best time to visit is April through October, though the trails are also used for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Bring water and be aware that winter signage is limited.
