About

The Crag Crest Loop Trail is a challenging mountain biking route located on the Grand Mesa in Western Colorado. The trail sits at high elevations, with sources citing ranges between 10,242 feet and 10,582 feet, or generally above 11,000 feet. It is designated as a National Recreation Trail and is managed by the USFS Grand Valley Ranger District. The route allows hiking, biking, and horses, while motorized vehicles are prohibited. Access is available from the West Trailhead or the East Trailhead, with the loop incorporating sections between the West Trailhead and the Cottonwood Lakes Trail junction.
