Dirty Business, also known as Tropic of Capricorn, is a bouldering area located near Crested Butte on the Western Slope of Colorado. The site sits at an elevation of 8,899 feet and offers moderate difficulty routes suitable for climbers with some experience. The primary access point is from the north, as the southern entrance crosses private property. Climbers should expect a duration of approximately four hours for their outing. The area provides on-site parking and allows pets. Equipment requirements are minimal, with pads being the standard protection used by climbers. The start of the climb involves a reach that may challenge those under six feet tall, followed by crimps, sidepulls, and gastons leading to good holds at the top out. Many climbers utilize a pad-stack for this initial section. The climbing area is accessible year-round, operating from January through December.
