Dry Fork - Highpoint is a 15.9-mile mountain biking loop in Durango, Colorado, classified as difficult with an estimated duration of five hours. The route begins at the Junction Creek Trailhead, located west of the cattle guard on the Colorado Trail. Riders climb approximately 1 mile to a split, then turn left onto Dry Fork Trail before joining the Colorado Trail. The path ascends to Highpoint, a knob at approximately 9,560 feet, offering views of the La Plata Mountains. Highpoint sits about 3.4 miles from the junction with the main Colorado Trail. The descent is technical, featuring rocks, small drops, and chunder. Riders yield to uphill traffic and hikers. The trail is accessible from April through October, with parking available at the trailhead. Pets are permitted.
