About
Engleharts is a short, moderate mountain biking connector trail in Durango, Colorado, linking Hidden Valley to Test Track (also known as Ned's Hill). The route spans approximately 0.3 to 0.4 miles at an elevation of roughly 6,837 feet, with typical ride times between 3 and 6 minutes. Located within the Overend Mountain Park trail system, the trail features a ground surface and thick vegetation. It serves as a popular, multi-use path for walkers and runners, so riders should expect to yield and share the singletrack. Access begins at the Hidden Valley cul-de-sac; head up Hidden Valley and take a quick left to access Engleharts, which branches off to the right at the intersection with Crestview and Hidden Valley trails. The trail leads toward an old radio tower concrete pad. Parking is available near the trailhead, and the route is pet-friendly. Seasonal access typically runs from April through October, though some sources indicate year-round usability depending on weather conditions.
