Escape Hatch is a moderate rock climbing spot located in Crested Butte, Western Colorado. The site features a boulder approximately 10 feet high, situated at an elevation of 9,478 feet. Climbers ascend the northwest arete of Joint Rock to reach the Blunt Boy face. The route is accessible year-round, with typical outings lasting around four hours. Parking is available on site, and pets are permitted. Access requires entering from the north due to private property restrictions at the southern entrance. Protection is provided by pads. The area offers climbing opportunities for those with some experience, though the difficulty can increase if climbers continue to the top of the arete.
