It is suitable for hikers of all skill levels, including families. Parking is available directly at the trailhead. The route is accessible year-round from January through December. Ridgway State Park offers 15.6 miles of hiking and biking trails within its boundaries, with additional access to over 40 miles of trails via the adjacent Ridgway Area Trail system. The park allows leashed dogs and horses. Entrance fees range from $4 for an individual daily pass to $10-$15 for a daily vehicle pass. The park is open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
