About
Grabens Loop is a 0.6-mile hiking and biking trail located in Overend Mountain Park, Durango, Colorado. The loop sits at the top of Hidden Valley, accessible from a cul-de-sac off West 23rd Street and Columbine Drive. The trail features a natural ground surface that is generally smooth with minor rises, falls, and small drops. It connects to the Star Wars technical downhill trail at its western end and links with Ned’s Hill Trail. The route is rated easy to moderate, making it suitable for families and casual hikers. Parking is available directly at the trailhead near the top of the dead-end street. The trail is open year-round and allows bicycles, horses, and dogs on leashes. While the elevation gain is minimal at approximately 115 feet, conditions can vary with weather, and the surface may be muddy after rain. The trail is part of a larger network including Falcon, Kearney, and Neds Hill loops.
