The Gunnison Sportsmen's Association Gun Club is a comprehensive shooting facility in Gunnison, Colorado, located at 881 County Road 18. Situated at an elevation of 7,776 feet, the club offers a wide variety of shooting disciplines including trap, skeet, rifle, pistol, and archery. The facility features multiple ranges: a 600-yard long-range rifle range with concrete benches and target stands at 300, 400, and 600 yards; a standard rifle range with stands at 25, 50, 100, and 200 yards; an indoor pistol range within a heated clubhouse; and an outdoor pistol range with electronic targets at 25 and 50 yards. Five earthen berm bays are available for handgun and light rifle shooting, often used by IPSC groups and law enforcement. The club operates year-round with specific schedules for informal trap shooting on Wednesday evenings from April to October and skeet on weekends. The facility is open to the public, offering weekly matches, hunter sight-in days, and concealed carry classes. Parking is available on-site, and pets are permitted. The moderate difficulty level suits various skill levels, with typical visits lasting around two hours.
