Hunter Creek Overlook is a short, 0.7-mile singletrack trail located in Aspen, Colorado, connecting the Hummingbird Lode meadow area to the Van Horn Park vicinity. The route is classified as moderate difficulty and is suitable for riding in both directions. The trail surface transitions from an old, rocky road bed at the lower elevation to more technical singletrack sections as it progresses. A notable feature is a specific rocky outcropping that presents an expert-level technical challenge, requiring riders to choose between riding through or hiking their bike depending on their comfort with exposure. The trail ends with views toward Thimble Rock and the Williams Mountains. It is accessible from April through October, with parking available at the trailhead.
