The route follows an old road that functions as a wide doubletrack, connecting the Hunter Creek Cutoff trail to an upper bridge crossing Hunter Creek. The trail is relatively flat and smooth, suitable for riding in either direction. It spans 0.9 miles and typically takes about 6 minutes to complete. The trail sits at an elevation of approximately 7,887 feet and is accessible from April through October. Designated parking is available for riders, and the trail is pet friendly.
