Kipper Snack Crack is a 5.11+ YDS sport climbing route located on the Right Side of Dry Creek Crag, near Montrose, Colorado. The climb is 30 feet (9 meters) long and situated on the Brown Sugar Wall, known for its dark brown patina. It is the third bolted line to the right of a large corner crack. The route begins with clipping the first bolt, followed by difficult sidepulls off an incipient crack to reach the headwall. The finish involves thin, reachy climbing past two additional bolts. First ascent was completed by Chris Righter and Eddie Medina. Dry Creek Crag is located approximately 14 miles west of Montrose on the Uncompahgre Plateau. The Right Side sector offers a high density of climbs with a spacious belay terrace that holds shade longer than other areas. BLM signage marks the approach to the clifftop parking area. Climbers should walk skier's right from their parked car to find a mellow descent fissure. The area is pet friendly and suitable for sport climbing.
