La Superlune, also known as Polish Sausage, is a sport climbing route located in Rifle Mountain Park near Rifle, Colorado. The site sits at an elevation of 5,958 feet and features limestone rock from the Leadville formation. The route is classified as difficult, with grades ranging from 5.12 to 5.13 depending on the climber's proficiency with slab sections. The climb is approximately 90 feet long and requires a 60-meter rope along with 14 or 15 quickdraws. Access is straightforward, with parking available at the site and a pet-friendly policy for visitors. The climbing season extends year-round, though the area sees higher traffic on weekends between May and September. The rock quality is generally considered good, featuring pockets, crimps, and pinches. Climbers should note that the lower-angled rock can accumulate silt and moss, which may affect foothold quality after rain. The route offers sustained, steepening climbing that culminates in a slabby boulder problem near the top before reaching the anchors.
