Mac & Cheese is a moderate difficulty boulder problem located in the Electric Hills area of Montrose, Colorado. The climb takes place on a V2 YDS rated boulder standing 20 feet (6 meters) high. The route begins at the bottom right of the face and ascends slightly to the left. It is situated on a wall that is accessible by walking up to it, requiring no complex approach. Parking is available at the site, and the location allows pets. The elevation of the climbing area is 5,928 feet. Montrose offers rock and ice climbing opportunities for various skill levels, with the nearby Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park providing additional multi-pitch options. Dry Creek Climbing Area, located approximately 15 miles west of Montrose, serves as another local sandstone climbing option. The Mac & Cheese route was first ascended by Zach Siegel in 2021.
