Mini Grit is a sport climbing route located in Montrose, Colorado, on the Western Slope. It sits at an elevation of 5,919 feet and is classified as difficult. The route is approximately 30 feet (9 meters) long and features three bolts with a two-bolt anchor using glue-ins. Climbers access the wall by hiking down a chimney, where Mini Grit is positioned to the left of the main Brown Wall and Gritstone Arete. The climb involves ascending features on both sides of an arete, with options to stem across a large chimney for easier movement or focus on crimping sections. It shares anchors with an adjacent traditional crack route. Parking is available on site, and pets are permitted. The area offers year-round access, though peak climbing season in the broader Montrose region typically runs from mid-April to mid-June and late August to early November. The route is suitable for experienced climbers seeking a short, technical ascent.
