The Missionary Ridge to Youngs Trail is a point-to-point mountain biking route in Durango, Colorado, connecting the Missionary Ridge trail system to Youngs Canyon. Riders begin at the Baldy Mountain Trailhead near the north end of Lemon Reservoir, accessing FSR 249 before climbing to Missionary Ridge. The route follows Missionary Ridge Road Spur to reach the descent into Youngs Canyon. This path offers a downhill-focused ride that sees low traffic, often feeling more like a hiking trail than a busy bike path. The terrain is described as rough and rugged with awkward flow but includes fun, technical sections. The trail is open from April through October. Parking is available at the designated trailhead. The area is pet-friendly, though dogs must remain on a leash. Hunters frequent the area, so riders should wear hunter orange during fall hunting season. The region was heavily impacted by the 2002 Missionary Ridge Fire, and the landscape has recovered over two decades. Wildlife such as elk and mule deer are common in the vicinity. The trail provides views of Gambel oak and aspen trees.
