The Monkey and the Engineer climbing area offers a range of difficult routes for experienced climbers. Located near Ouray, Colorado, at an elevation of 8423 feet, climbers can expect a challenging ascent with rewarding views. The climbing season spans the entire year, from January to December, although winter conditions may require additional gear and precautions. Climbers should plan for a minimum of 4 hours to complete their chosen route, and parking is available at the base of the climb, with pets also permitted in the area.
