About
Mummy's Passage is a 20-foot boulder near Durango, Colorado. The route begins with a sit start, followed by a traverse right on crimps and pockets with low feet. Climbers then ascend to the top using the same holds as the adjacent Sphinx route. The climb is rated moderate. Parking is available on-site, though seasonal restrictions apply. From August through April, during the academic year, parking in the west hall parking lot may require a pass or result in a ticket. Climbers can park near the football field instead, where free parking signs indicate the area. Parking meters exist throughout the campus. The site is pet friendly. The elevation is listed as 6,877 feet in the database, though web sources cite 8,464 feet. The route was first ascended by Max Williams.
