About
My Favorite Human is a 5.11a sport climb located on the Paleosol Wall within the Land's End Area of Grand Mesa, just west of Grand Junction. The route is 45 feet long and begins with a bouldery roof crux off the deck. Climbers then ascend steep jugs on the face before the route mellows out near the chains. It is situated immediately right of the route Ultramafic. The climb is rated difficult, offering a technical challenge for experienced climbers. Parking is available at the site, and pets are permitted. The area is known for red rocks and sandstone, which are best climbed in spring and fall when temperatures are mild. Summer climbing requires early starts to avoid heat, while winter climbing is possible on sunny days at this lower elevation. Local guidebooks such as 'Grand Junction Rock' provide detailed beta for this area.
