About
Nut-N-2-It is a short, moderate mountain biking trail located in the BLM Third Flats Area near Grand Junction, Colorado. The trail serves as a connector between the Twist-n-Shout trail and Third Flats Road, traversing gullies and rocky terrain. It begins at the 1.5-mile point of the Twist-n-Shout trail and climbs gradually to Third Flats Road, covering approximately 0.6 to 0.7 miles one way. Riders can create a loop under 3 miles by combining the first 1.5 miles of Twist-n-Shout with Nut-N-2-It. The trail is accessible from Third Flats Road, just below the Third Flats Trailhead, with parking available on site. It is open from April through October and allows pets. The surface is primarily dirt and ground, and the moderate difficulty suggests manageable technical features for riders with basic skills.
