About
Rad Brad is a 60-foot sport climbing route located on the leftmost section of the Dike Wall in Ouray, Colorado. The route consists of relatively clean rock and is protected by approximately six bolts. First ascended by Roger Schimmel and Edward Medina, the line is named in tribute to Brad McMillon. Climbers access the route by clipping the first bolt of the adjacent 'Sam's Spam' route, then moving up and left to a sandy shelf before launching onto the main face toward a two-bolt anchor. The area offers available parking and is pet-friendly. While the database lists the difficulty as difficult and elevation at 11,847 feet, specific grade and approach details are limited to the route's physical characteristics.
