Road 3550, known locally as Powerline Road, is a dirt hiking route in Gunnison, Colorado. The trail spans 5 miles with an elevation of 8,339 feet and is classified as easy. Hikers typically complete the route in about 3 hours. The path follows high voltage power lines, which serve as a visual guide for navigation through the Hartman Rocks area. Parking is available at the trailhead. The road allows hiking, biking, horses, motorcycles, and ATVs. It remains open year-round. A seasonal restriction applies to trails south of Powerline Road, which close until May 15 for Sage Grouse habitat. The Skull Pass Trail connects to Road 3550 after a cattle guard.
