Sailing Hawks Loop is a 3.9-mile mountain biking route in Dalla Mountain Park, Durango, Colorado. The trail sits at 7,152 feet elevation and is rated difficult. It connects several singletrack segments including Junction Trail, Ponderosa, Upper Spur, Bouldering, and Sailing Hawks. The route begins at the main trailhead with a climb up gated Junction Trail, then branches onto singletrack. Riders traverse technical climbing sections with mellow grades before reaching a fast, techy descent on Sailing Hawks. The surface consists of dirt with embedded and loose rocks, boulders, and rock formations. Parking is available near the trailhead. The loop allows hiking, biking, and dogs (leashed). It is accessible from April through October. The trail stays dry late into the season and melts early in spring.
