Second Thoughts is a moderate mountain biking trail in the BLM Third Flats Area near Grand Junction, Colorado. The trail branches off the Twist-N-Shout trail and runs along the outer edge of the canyons. It is approximately 3.1 miles long with an elevation of 4,587 feet. The route connects to both the lower and upper sections of Twist-N-Shout and serves as a connector from Snake Skin. Riders encounter views through junipers and occasional pine trees. The terrain includes sandy spots and a large rock feature that may require a brief dismount. The trail is open to motorbikes and is pet-friendly. Parking is available near the trailhead, accessible via Third Flats Road or Little Park trailhead. The typical riding window is April through October, though some sources indicate access from January through November depending on conditions.
