The Silver Bell Trailhead in Aspen, Colorado, serves as a primary access point for the Maroon Bells Scenic Area. Located at Co Rd 14, it offers a moderate hiking experience with an elevation of 10,318 feet. The trail typically takes about two hours to complete and is suitable for fall hiking from September through November. Hikers can bring pets, and parking is available at the trailhead. Access requires either a Trailhead Parking Reservation or a Shuttle Reservation from May 15 to October 31. The shuttle departs from the Maroon Bells Welcome Center at Aspen Highlands Ski Area. A paid parking garage exists at the welcome center for those using the shuttle. The area is known for alpine lakes and 14,000-foot peaks within the White River National Forest.
