About
The Stein Trail is a 0.6-mile connector route in Aspen, linking the Aspen Airport Business Center (AABC) to the Rio Grande Trail. The trail consists primarily of a flat dirt road paralleling the Roaring Fork River, but includes steep, rocky sections at both ends: a steep climb gaining elevation to reach the AABC and a steep, rocky drop-off behind the hill toward the Rio Grande Trail. It is classified as easy to moderate and is suitable for hiking, running, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Pets are allowed. Access is available from the AABC, where parking is provided. The trail is typically open from April through October.
