About
The Telluride Nordic Center operates from the Town Park Pavilion in Telluride, Colorado, adjacent to the Hanley Ice Rink. It serves as a hub for Nordic skiing at an elevation of 9,500 feet. The center manages seven distinct trail networks within the immediate vicinity, including Town Park, the Valley Floor, a golf course in Mountain Village, TopAten on Chair Ten, Trout Lake, and Priest Lake. These venues offer varied terrain and lengths of groomed trails with views of the surrounding area. The center is open from November through April, subject to snow conditions and grooming status. It offers ski rentals, lessons for various skill levels, clinics, and trail information. Parking is available on site. The facility functions as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the education and enhancement of Nordic skiing for all ages and abilities. Trail access is supported by donations, memberships, and grants, with a suggested daily donation of $20 for adults. Restrooms are available at the center.
