Tempered Engagement is a M5 sport, mixed, 60 ft (18 m) located in CO Ice & Mixed > Silverton > Eureka. First ascent by ED. This is an all rock, dry tooling route that is good fun and closely bolted. Combining this with Tempered By Fire makes for a worthwhile hike up the road. Climb the open book corner/crack with nice pick torques and positive edges to a few trickier moves below the anchor. Protection: Approach as for Tempered By Fire, and start about 25' to the left.
