The Arete of Delusion is a sport climbing route located near Montrose, Colorado. The route consists of a 45-foot pitch with a difficult grade. It is situated on a rock panel as the second route to the right of the route 'Benny Fairchild Illusion.' The climb begins with a steep start featuring big moves and positive holds. Climbers ascend to a stance to clip a bolt, then move up and right to the arete before traversing around to the south face on easier terrain to reach the anchor. The route is protected by four bolts and a two-bolt anchor. Parking is available on site, and the area is pet friendly.
