Tick Fever is a rock climbing route located near Telluride, Colorado, on the Western Slope. The route is classified as difficult and features a mix of trad and sport climbing. It is approximately 60 feet (18 meters) long. The first ascent was made by Charlie Fowler. The route is situated on a crack/groove face, positioned to the left of the route 'Blood on the Cracks' and further up the canyon on the left-hand side. Climbers should watch for Stinging Nettles at the base. Protection includes small to medium stoppers, finger-sized cams to #0.75 Camalot, three bolts, and a chain anchor. A new #5 Camalot is recommended. Parking is available on-site, and pets are allowed. The area is accessible year-round.
