The Tundra climbing area is a difficult destination for rock climbers, situated at an elevation of 8406 feet. Climbers can expect a challenging route with varying trail conditions, and should plan for a minimum of 4 hours to complete their climb. The area is accessible year-round, from January through December, although winter conditions may require additional preparation and gear. Parking is available on site, and climbers are allowed to bring their pets along, making it a pet-friendly option for those visiting the Silverton area.
