Wedge Arete is a bouldering destination located in Crested Butte, Colorado. The site features a large boulder with a distinct overhanging arete on its east side. The primary route is rated V4 and involves a sit start on a sloper, leading up the overhanging face. The area is classified as moderate difficulty and is accessible year-round, with prime climbing conditions from January through December. Winter visits may require additional gear due to weather conditions. Parking is available near the base of the climb. Pets are allowed at the site. Access requires entering from the north side, as the southern entrance crosses private property. The location is approximately 100 feet down on the right hand side of the third turnoff along the trail into Skyland. The elevation is 8,684 feet.
