Since 1966, Sunlight Mountain Resort has served as Glenwood Springs’ independent escape, offering 749 acres of terrain with 77 runs and 2,010 feet of vertical drop. Our slopes feature wide-open greens, cruisy blues, and The Heathen’s famous 52-degree drop, providing terrain that suits both first-timers and seasoned pros. We operate two new lifts and maintain a reputation for big mountain fun with small mountain vibes, ensuring skiing remains accessible without breaking the bank. Free parking and easy access eliminate lines, allowing guests to focus on carving fresh powder or riding the slopes.
