The Lung Center at Valley View

Serving Glenwood Springs since 1955, the Valley View Lung Center operates as a specialized hub for pulmonary health within the Valley View Hospital system. Our team of pulmonologists diagnoses and treats a wide array of conditions, ranging from asthma, COPD, and emphysema to sleep disorders and lung cancer. We focus on early detection through dedicated lung cancer screenings and offer specialized tobacco cessation programs to help patients improve their overall wellbeing. Every patient journey begins with a personalized approach, ensuring that individual needs are accommodated in their plan of care. Our facility is wheelchair accessible, accepts insurance, and provides ample parking for visitors. We are open Monday through Friday, with weekday hours running from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and closing early on Fridays at 1:00 p.m. As an independent, nonprofit health system, we have grown from a small 22,000-square-foot hospital into a thriving 21-acre medical campus featuring 78 beds and advanced medical offices. In 2024, Valley View earned a five-star rating for overall hospital quality from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
