Since 1996, Amaze'n Steamboat Family Fun Park has offered a compact, non-corporate alternative to larger amusement venues just behind the Steamboat Springs Chamber of Commerce. The property sits in a park-like setting along Fish Creek, where guests navigate 18 holes of miniature golf winding through rocks, logs, and a mine shaft. A giant human maze features four checkpoints and serves as the arena for Squirt Gun Fun, where super-sized soakers ensure participants get wet. Laser tag is available with kid-friendly guns that track scores automatically, eliminating the need for vests. Visitors can also try their hand at gemstone panning in an authentic sluice, keeping whatever they find. The Shoot’n Shower Basketball court adds competitive water play, with the loser getting showered by the winner. Picnic tables provide shaded spots next to the river for breaks during the activity-filled day. The park hosts birthday parties, family reunions, and corporate retreats, offering both day passes and season passes. It is widely regarded as Steamboat’s favorite small amusement park, providing twice the niceness at half the price of competitors.
