Since 1984, Colorado West Jeep Rentals has been guiding visitors through the San Juan Mountains, starting when a group of local Ouray businessmen incorporated the company to meet the demand for off-road adventures. Bob Burdick, initially hired as a tour driver, purchased the business in 1992 before passing ownership to his sister, Judy Lindberg. Today, we operate as Ouray’s most modern off-road tour company, providing both self-drive Jeep and UTV rentals alongside guided private tours. Our fleet features capable two-seater and four-person Can Am vehicles, selected for their excellent suspension and tires to handle steep, muddy climbs like Yankee Boy Basin and Imogene Pass.
