About
Our Plaza Circle comes alive every Tuesday through Saturday at 6pm with Native American Summer Performances, offering free entry and a chance to watch dancers under the open sky. When rain moves in, we bring the music inside, keeping our coffeehouse, gift shop, and gallery open for visitors. We are proud to host the Four Corners Studio Tour in late September, inviting guests to explore local artists' studios during two weekend events. Our art exhibitions rotate seasonally, featuring themes from Southwest landscapes to autumn harvests, with receptions that include appetizers and a cash bar. We also host educational talks, such as our recent session on Ancestral Pueblo Culture with author Gian Mercurio, where attendees taste blue corn bread and Piki Bread. From Montezuma Heritage Days to birding events, we serve as a cultural hub for Cortez, blending art, history, and community gatherings.
