A spacious redwood deck serves as a front-row seat for observing abundant birdlife, including hummingbirds, woodpeckers, and grosbeaks, with binoculars available for borrowing. Guests can relax in common areas featuring leather couches before a large stone fireplace or unwind in the separate TV lounge. The outdoor hot tub remains available 24/7 year-round, regardless of the season. Mornings bring a Continental breakfast buffet featuring hard-boiled eggs, muffins, pastries, bagels with cream cheese and jelly, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee, and teas. Walter’s signature cookies are baked fresh and available all day alongside hot water and tea options. The property provides propane grills, refrigerators, microwaves, and utensils for guests who wish to enjoy takeout meals. Surrounded by ponderosa pines and scrub oaks, the secluded retreat offers easy access to mountain and river activities while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere with frequent visits from deer, elk, and occasional bears.
