Eight miles north of downtown Durango in the Animas Valley, Durango Hot Springs Resort & Spa occupies the site of the historic Trimble Hot Springs, currently undergoing a redesign and expansion. The thermal waters distinguish themselves with a unique absence of sulfuric odor and a proprietary infusion of nano-meter and micro-meter oxygen bubbles, a feature the resort claims is unique globally. This oxygenation enhances the purity and health benefits of the natural mineral blend. Guests access over 40 distinct water features, including 32 separate hot springs mineral pools, divided into 19 family-friendly and 13 adult-only options, alongside two cold plunges and a 25-meter resort-style swimming pool. Additional amenities include five private Japanese-inspired cedar Ofuro soaking tubs, a reflexology walking path, and a mineral water rain tower. Beyond the water, the facility offers therapeutic and relaxation massage alongside a full range of spa treatments. All soaking and spa services require reservations, with specific cancellation policies in place for each. The resort operates daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
