Duranglers Flies and Supplies Fly Shop and Guide Service

Since 1983, Duranglers Flies and Supplies has served as the Four Corners’ central hub for fly fishing, operating both a full-service retail shop and a guide service in downtown Durango. Founders John Flick and Tom Knopick opened the doors on Main Avenue, initially tying every fly and building rods by hand before expanding into a larger, bright storefront at 923 Main Avenue. The shop holds Orvis Endorsed Outfitter status, a designation that underscores its expertise in gear and guiding.

The guide team specializes in custom trips across diverse waters, with a particular focus on the San Juan River tailwater below Navajo Dam.
