Durango Community Recreation Center

Our 71,557-square-foot facility stands as a cornerstone of family fitness and leisure in Durango. We designed this space to honor the history of the site by incorporating old grandstand stones from the Fairgrounds, creating a building that complements the character of the Four Corners area. Inside, we offer both lap and leisure pools, complete with a lazy river, diving boards, and a large hot tub. Families love our water slide and the newly updated play equipment for younger children, including puddle jumpers and life jackets. Beyond the water, we provide racquetball courts, an indoor track, a gymnasium with free weights and cardiovascular equipment, and a dedicated youth games area. Our staff is known for being attentive and professional, ensuring every visit feels welcoming. We also host events in our community meeting rooms and outdoor amphitheater, making us a versatile destination for gatherings. Recognized with CAPRA National Accreditation, placing our Parks and Recreation Department in the top 1% of agencies nationwide, we are proud to offer affordable, year-round fun for everyone.
