Embellishments of Steamboat Springs

We opened our doors in 1998 on a quiet side street, bringing whimsical gifts and home furnishings imported from distant places like Africa and Mexico to downtown Steamboat Springs. In 2010, we expanded our footprint by purchasing the Steamboat Art Company, a local fixture since 1975 known for quality handcrafts and art. By December 2022, we merged the inventories of both locations under one name and refreshed our exterior signage to welcome long-time customers and new visitors to the Yampa Valley. Today, we operate on the corner of 9th Street and Lincoln Avenue, one block up from the Yampa River and catty-corner from Lyon's Drug & Soda Fountain. Our boutique offers a constantly evolving selection of unique items, including Thomas Miller Custom Furniture, handmade ceramics such as bowls and mugs, locally made candles, and fair trade goods. We stock everything from jewelry like earrings and pendants to women's fashion including scarves, hats, and jeans. Our shelves also feature baby items, puzzles, patterned vinyl rugs, tea towels, pet accessories, and art supplies. Our owners travel frequently to gift shows across the country and internationally to curate fresh trends, ensuring that our displays are always changing. It is never the same store twice when you walk through our doors.
