Gravity Lab

Sebastiaan and Laura built Gravity Lab in Durango as a locally owned climbing gym serving Southwest Colorado and the Greater Four Corners Region. Our newly constructed facility provides approximately 6,200 square feet of climbing space, featuring bouldering features, a top rope and auto belay wall, and a dedicated instructional area for beginners. The gym also includes specialized training equipment such as a Kilter Board, campus board, and a Spray wall. Matt Price serves as our head routsetter and competition team coach, bringing creativity to the routes and coaching the youth team. Brian Phelps, an AMGA SPI and CWI, manages the team and leads clinics and private lessons. Toby Glick, fluent in English, Spanish, and Pig Latin, teaches technical skills to our recreational teams. We designed this open space to accommodate climbers of all levels, from introductory athletes to advanced competitors, making it a great place for groups and events.
