Our wrap-around decks overlook the 400-acre lake at Crawford State Park, offering sweeping views into the West Elk Wilderness. We operate as a bed and breakfast on the West Elk Loop scenic byway, providing rustic-chic log cabin accommodations in six guest rooms that sleep up to thirteen. Guests enjoy a sit-down country-style breakfast and the comfort of a host who stays flexible, even for late arrivals. The main room features a distinct old-west feel where families can relax, and the property sits just a short drive from Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Nearby activities include hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, water skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, and boating. The surrounding North Fork Valley is known for its production of fresh, wholesome foods and wines, with restaurants in Crawford, Hotchkiss, and Paonia nearby. Our rooms offer basic amenities like outlets and sinks, but the real draw is the serene atmosphere, cool mountain air, and the sound of nature from your private porch.
