Leland House Suites of Durango

Twelve guest rooms define The Leland House Suites, a boutique inn in Durango’s Second Avenue District where kitchens or kitchenettes transform every stay into a home base for exploring the Four Corners. The Ensign Martinez family, Tonya, Chuck, Alec, Lukman, and Dominic, purchased this established property in 2021, continuing a legacy of hospitality that began when Tonya and Chuck first discovered Durango in 1987. After buying a cabin in 2000, they moved their family to town full-time in 2009 before acquiring the hotel and launching Lola’s Place, an on-site coffee shop, restaurant, bar, and event venue. Guests enjoy casual luxury within walking distance of the Durango-Silverton Train Station, historic Main Avenue shops, and the River Trail. Our amenities include free Wi-Fi, wheelchair accessibility, on-site parking, and a 24-hour front desk. We welcome dogs to our dog-friendly suites, ensuring that both pets and people feel at home while accessing over 100 miles of natural trails, skiing, and nearby historical sites like Mesa Verde National Park.
