Dan and Hannah Korman built the Siesta Motel as a 1950s roadside gem in Durango, Colorado, preserving the spirit of yesteryear while offering contemporary comforts. Our vintage charm is evident in our retro-decorated guest rooms, which feature plush bedding, local coffee, ROKU TVs, and individually heated and air-conditioned units. We provide a range of accommodations including Basic Queen, Basic King, Cabin King, Deluxe King, Double Queen, Deluxe Double Queen, and a 2 Room Suite, all equipped with desks, outdoor dining areas, garden views, and private bathrooms. As a basecamp for outdoor enthusiasts, we offer complimentary bike rentals for cruising the Animas River Trail and provide easy access to hiking in the San Juan Mountains, skiing, and rafting. We are pet-friendly with a one-time $45 fee at check-in, ensuring your dogs can join the adventure. Guests can unwind in our vintage lounge area, The Cactus Club, or utilize our free Wi-Fi and 24-hour front desk. Our motel serves as a convenient and affordable home away from home for solo travelers, couples, and families riding the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad or exploring local attractions.
