Silent Country Cycle & Ski

Founded in 2010 by Marty Ulrich, Silent Country Cycle & Ski began as a custom parts manufacturer in Vista, California, before bringing its hands-on expertise to Delta County. We operate as a full-service shop along Colorado Hwy 92, specializing in bicycle repair, eBike sales, and Nordic ski services. Our inventory reflects a deep love for local outdoor culture, featuring brands like Kink BMX, Monday Motorbikes, Aventon, and Ubco 2x2 eMotos. In the winter months, we transition into a dedicated ski shop with Rossignol skis and offer rentals, waxing, and tune-ups. Marty’s personal touch shines through his work on classic restorations, wheel building, and fixed-gear conversions. We also run the Silent Riders program, which has been giving away fully tuned-up bicycles to community members since 2020 through a free Facebook raffle. Located in the Valley View Plaza next to Safeway, we carry apparel from Smartwool, Chaco, and Big Agnes, alongside custom hoodies from Salt Creek. From new bikes for the Grand Mesa trails to ski gear for the slopes, we ensure there is no "cannot be done" in our shop.
