Dr. Kevin R. Johnson, PT, DPT, TPS, graduated from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2009 with a doctorate in physical therapy. His journey into this profession began in his youth, watching his father attend PT school and eventually start his own practice. Kevin has experienced physical therapy firsthand due to various injuries and surgeries, giving him a unique perspective on the recovery process. He understands what it feels like to overcome chronic pain and the effects of opioids, which drives his focus on helping clients achieve similar relief. In 2020, Kevin became a certified therapeutic pain specialist, distinguishing himself as the only one on the Western Slope. He incorporates Pain Neuroscience Education into his treatments, helping clients rehabilitate their pain and decrease dependence on or completely eliminate medication use. While he treats a variety of conditions, his deep love lies in helping those who live with chronic pain. Our practice is appointment-based and accepts insurance, ensuring accessible care for our neighbors in Delta.
