About
Our historic stone sanctuary, built by Cornish, Welsh, and English miners in the wake of Ouray’s 1875 gold and silver rush, hosts Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. We celebrate Holy Communion and deliver sermon messages within this space, which reflects the skilled stonework of its original builders. The cross and candlesticks on our altar reportedly originated from the high-grade ore mined by those devoted pioneers. After each service, we gather for Coffee Hour in the Parish Hall, offering a friendly space to meet visitors and fellow parishioners. On the first Sunday of each month, we collect dry foods, canned goods, and personal care items to support the Ouray County Food Pantry and the library’s pantry. Our musical ensemble, featuring flute, violin, and piano, enriches worship with seasonal pieces chosen alongside the appointed lessons. For those unable to attend in person, we stream Sunday services via Zoom at 10:30 a.m. Nightly Compline is available on Zoom from Sunday through Friday at 8:00 p.m., providing a consistent spiritual rhythm for the community. We welcome all to join us in worship, baptism, and fellowship, regardless of background or belief.
